It is 6 o'clock in the morning in NZ and will be 2 o'clock in the morning in Singapore and your birthday. Have a fantastic and special day. How Poppa and i wish we could be sharing the day with you. I wonder if you will have some special treats in your lunch box today or maybe you will do something special tonight. Please do let me know.
NZ is going into winter - something you will not experience in Singapore. The leaves on the trees have all changed colours and are now dropping - it is lovely to walk through the park kicking up the leaves on the ground as you walk through them.
It is not long now before I come over - about 28 more sleeps. Looking forward to having lots of fun with you all.

the laps were long and tierlina left when i started to make this message. There were dinosaurs as crocodile called rutiodon. The scariest dinosaur was tyannosaurus rex.

Z'Arn your mum sent me a list of your achievements with getting your Bronze swimming badge. What a fantastic effort and very well done. Swimming is very good for the development of your lungs. I have always swum but now I cannot breathe properly when doing overarm and get very breathless. My trouble is I do not get rid of all the air when under water and when i need another breath I have to puff a little bit out before I can take the next breath - this makes distance swimming very hard for me. One day I am going to have lessons again to master my breathing.
I want you and your sisters to get together and make a list of all the things you want to do when I am looking after you in the school holidays. Every night we will look at the list and decide our plans for the next day - does this sound like it will be fun - it will be for me. It can be anything from swimming, to picnics, to zoo, to playground, to biking, to skating, to having a day at home, to cooking, or whatever.
I have sent a small parcel in the mail for Trent's birthday - can you please let me know that it arrives Z'Arn? Do you like spelling your name Z'Arn or Zian?
I am going to spend sometime with Great Grandma this weekend - she is 93.

Thank you soooo much for your 2 newsy emails and also thank you for my birthday wishes. I will have to send a card in the mail for Trent's birthday. I was up on Ruapehu for my birthday - it is a very special place. Can you remember tobogganing in the snow there Z'Arn? It was a lot of fun. Z'Arn when I send things in the post to you and Carmelyn and Tierlina do you think you could send me a quick message to let me know you have received? This could be a letter, a postcard or even a small parcel. I will try and remember to let you know when I have posted something. Did you finish reading the letter I wrote about my holiday in Singapore or did mum read it to you? I have booked to come over and see you all and my flight gets into Singapore on the 16th June at 7.00pm - do you all want to come and meet me at the airport or shall I get a train out to you? It is now 11.30pm so I must get to bed.

I loved the story about the mouse that was looking like it was going to become human. Z'Arn that was just a great message and well written from a 6 year old boy. What does concern Nise though is you said you were writing it at 12.21 past midnight - why was a 6 year old up at the hour? Do you know - I am sure you do - we all need lots of sleep to help our bodies grow, help our brain to be healthy and to be very alert in class.
Remember when we went up the mountain with the toboggan - Ruapehu, well Nise is going up there for 5 days from tomorrow Saturday. I looked at the weather forecast tonight and it says we are going to have rain every day - that is no good as I am tramping.
I have lots to do before I leave in the morning.
